UFACTORY xArm 5

The UFACTORY xArm 5 offers 5 degrees of freedom and a strong balance of reach, payload, and affordability, making it an ideal starting point for teams advancing into 5-axis automation. It provides greater capability than the Lite 6, and adapts to fit in various environments such as research, prototyping, and even light-manufacturing environments.

UFACTORY xArm 6

The UFACTORY xArm 6 offers a balance of flexibility, payload, and reach, making it our most versatile and best-selling model. With 6 degrees of freedom, a 5 kg payload, and 700 mm reach, it delivers dependable, adaptable performance for research, prototyping, and light-industrial tasks.

UFACTORY xArm 7

The UFACTORY xArm 7 adds a seventh degree of freedom to enable more natural, human-like motion. A seventh axis is ideal for working in tight, cluttered, or complex environments where more motion freedom is required. While seven‑axis cobots are usually expensive, UFACTORY delivers xArm 7 at a highly competitive price, opening new possibilities for cutting‑edge research and advanced applications.

Performance That Delivers Real Value

Industrial Reliability

UFACTORY cobots are engineered for dependable, consistent, long-term operation, utilizing industrial-grade harmonic reducers and servo motors to maintain stable performance across demanding workflows.

Compact and Lightweight

Carbon-fiber construction keeps xArm ultra-light at 11.3–14.3 kg (depending on model) with a compact Ø126 mm footprint for simpler transport, mounting, and redeployment.

What makes the arm really stand out is the compact controller lineup. Whether mounted under a table or inside a cabinet, the space-saving AC control box (269 × 178 × 86 mm, 3.4 kg) keeps standard installations tidy. For mobile platforms and battery-powered deployments, the DC controller option (209 × 176 × 82 mm, 2.5kg) supports a simpler, lighter integration.

Easy Programming and Control

UFACTORY Studio is accessible through any modern web browser on Mac or Windows, or as a downloadable desktop application. A drag-and-drop graphical interface, hand-guiding function, and guided tutorials support fast deployment of automation tasks without requiring prior development experience.

Safe by Design

Built-in collision detection monitors for unexpected contact and triggers an automatic protective stop to support safe human–robot collaboration.

Self-Collision Detection prevents unintended contact between robot joints, protecting the arm from mechanical stress and hardware damage.

Configurable Safety Controls

Configure safety boundaries and motion limits (TCP speed, joint speed, and joint range) in UFACTORY Studio for controlled, predictable operation.

Connect external safety devices via I/O and set the robot’s response in software (Stop, Reduced, or Safeguard Stop) to support safer workflows and simpler cell integration.

Add a UFACTORY 6-axis force torque sensor for precise force detection in close-contact applications such as rehabilitation, massage, and research.
